Post 2 - Why did you choose this career/study programme?
I remember when I was a child, I told my mom that I wanted to open a Chilean food restaurant in France, because I believed that Chilean food was underrated and I wanted the world to know how good it was. Then I grew up and I wanted to be teacher of teachers, because I love studying and I believed that if I taught to teach, other people would love to study too. I still love studying and with that in mind, I found sociology, I discovered that is a career that allows me to permanently study people and social phenomena, that allows me to understand the things of society that make me angry or make me feel disappointed about things I used to believe. My other options were anthropology and history, but sociology is more exciting. I think I took the right decision; I'm having a good experience in the Universidad de Chile and I love what I choose. As I said, I love to study and I would like to be paid for that, but if I can't, I would be teacher of some branch of so...
