Who I admire?
Stephen King is an American writer that write
mostly horror books. I love his work because the way he writes it's not boring
or superficial, you can follow the story with the necessary amount of details
so it’s not slow. I start reading his books when I was 10 years old and they
terrified me, their books caught me and when the things went scary it forces me
to close the book, specially "The shining". I would love to have all the books I've read of him, but they are really expensive, so I only own 2. My favorite is Joyland.
Many films are based on his books and I can tell that are not as scary as the books, like “It” or, like I said before, The shining and the sequel Doctor Sleep. There are many examples like Misery, Carrie, The green mile, etc. Currently he is 73 years old and still publishing, a few years ago he published a book with his son Owen.
You know ... I've never read one of his books, maybe because I'm very fearful hahaha but I think it would be an interesting experience to read a thriller
ResponderEliminarI have never tried to read horror literature, not for any particular reason, I just haven't taken the initiative to do so. Maybe Stephen King is a good author to start with.
ResponderEliminarI have never read a Stephen King book or watch a movie inspired in in his literature, but "The shining" is a movie that I going to watch this year, I promised! Especially because is directed by Stanley Kubrick.
